mental health support

Since 2009, Penelope Ling has worked with a variety of educational establishments and businesses offering mental health support either face-to-face or online.

In 2022, she struck a partnership between herself and JP-International training. JP International training provides mental health awareness training to employees within corporations and large businesses.

Managers and HR staff can help employees by referring them on to Penelope Ling Therapies. This can help them with any mental health support, which is psychological, without long waiting lists.

Any company wishing to take part in this scheme, please contact JP International training for more details.

How the scheme works

Once individuals have completed their training, they may nominate individuals from their company to be assessed.

If the individual already has a history of mental health issues, it’s best they go back to their doctor or psychiatrist for further treatment.

If, however, they are suitable candidates for talking therapies, then they will go through an initial assessment online with Penelope.

At the initial consultation, Penelope will look at their history, needs and whether online therapy or face-to-face is better. If face-to-face, Penelope has a wide selection of therapists in the UK at her disposal.

If the problem is best dealt with by a therapist who specialises in that area, then again Penelope will try to find the best pairing possible – leaving out the problem many people face when not knowing which therapist suits best.

Mental Health Support

Once an agreement takes place, then sessions will take place on a weekly basis at first. This is because we are trying to establish new, positive habits and changing the way the brain responds. Teaching a variety of tools to our clients. Giving them time to use them.

Using scaling, we are able to monitor every step of the way, making sure your employee is making progress.

NB. Please note that the employee will need to want to take part, as they will achieve nothing through coercion. We cannot make an employee to do anything they don’t wish to. In some circumstances, the employee may realise that they may not want to work for your organisation and leave. If this is the case, Penelope Ling holds no responsibility for the employee’s actions.
